This page explains what personal information WinWinWords collects when you visit winwinwords.com or get in touch with us, why we collect it, and what you can ask us to do with it. We keep it short because we don't collect much.
WinWinWords is a content writing agency run by Michel Grahovac. We write content for adult and mainstream clients and also handle marketing, PR, and design work. For anything related to your data, write to info@winwinwords.com. We don't do phone or chat support, so email is the only way to reach us.
When you use our contact form. The form asks for your name, your email address, the service you're interested in, and a message. Volume and deadline are optional. When you send it, the form also records your IP address, which helps us spot spam. All of this arrives as an email in our inbox. We don't keep a separate database of form submissions.
When you email us. We receive whatever you include in your email: your name, address, signature details, and any files you attach.
When you work with us. If you become a client, we keep the project details, briefs, files, and invoices needed to do the work and to meet our tax and accounting obligations.
When you browse the site. Like most websites, our hosting provider keeps standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested, and the time of the request). These are used for security and to keep the site running.
Some pages load tools from other companies, and these can set cookies or collect basic information about your visit:
These companies handle the data under their own privacy policies. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and the site will still work. Google Analytics and the Meta Pixel only use cookies if you click Accept on the cookie banner. If you click Decline, they don't. To change your choice, clear this site's data in your browser and the banner will show again.
Sometimes we contact businesses directly by email to offer our services, using business contact details that are publicly listed. If you don't want to hear from us again, just reply and say so, and we'll stop.
Where the law asks for a legal basis, we rely on taking steps you've asked for before a contract (like sending a quote), performing a contract, our legal obligations for invoices and records, and our legitimate interest in running and promoting a small business.
We don't sell your information and we don't share it for anyone else's marketing. It only passes through the services we use to run the business: our web host, our email provider, and the analytics tools listed above. If a freelance writer or designer works on your project, they see the brief and the material they need for the job, nothing more. We may also share information if the law requires it.
Some of these providers are based outside the EU, mainly in the United States. When that happens, the transfer is covered by the provider's own safeguards, such as standard contractual clauses.
Emails and form messages that don't turn into a project are deleted when they're no longer useful, usually within two years. Client project files and invoices are kept for as long as accounting and tax rules require. Server logs are kept by our host for a limited time and then removed automatically.
You can ask us to show you the personal information we hold about you, correct it, delete it, or stop using it. If you're in the EU or the UK, you also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority. To make a request, email info@winwinwords.com and we'll reply within 30 days.
The site runs over HTTPS, and access to our email and hosting accounts is limited to the people who need it. No system is perfect, though, so please don't send passwords or payment card details through the contact form or by email.
Our services are for businesses. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
If we change how we handle data, we'll update this page and the date at the top.
